I was such a lazy pig today. I only got up close to 12. Well actually I got up at 7.30 but cause its my day off today I decided to continue sleeping and in doing so Fel got up at only 9am when his class was 9.30am! But thank god his sis was kind enough to drive him to Central for the train. And yes Fel has started classes once again, hopefully it will be his final semester cause some of his subjects got kinda screwed but hey I believe and have a good feeling that he's gonna finish this semester! We were discussing his future plans on the way home yesterday. He does not know if he should continue studying or work part-time and study part-time. As everyone know design is a field where experience and talent is so much more important but here's my logic. In 10 years time though you have 10 years experience, the young kids from today would have say 5 years experience plus bachelors and masters to back them up. Which is why I personally think Fel should continue but doing part-time courses cause further down the road he would have a good solid education coupled with say 10 years experience. Which is why I am now furthering my own studies. I have finally received the correspondence course from REI and have sorta read through one of the components. Will try to finish that by October cause its just a certificate course. I still want to do my MA or even Grad Dip as a Chartered Secretary. Just that I need that silly certificate cause I'm in the real estate line.
Anyways on other matters, Father's Day is this Saturday and I'm pretty broke so will just spend the entire Sunday with my family at Malaysia Fest. This is the first time in about 3 years that I am not participating in it. I remember how I would have to run around doing stuff gathering people and trying to help out but this year I get to sit back and watch everything while eating the salivating authentic Malaysian food. It's strange how every single year they have Mfest on Father's Day, it was initially to comemorate Malaysia's Independence Day which, was last Sunday. So yes I'm really looking forward to Sunday. Had coffee with Clara and Jaydee 2 nights back and FINALLY they have gotten together. We use to always go out with both of them and they always act like a couple and they even look good together. Fel always asked me why weren't they a coupld and now they finally are. I love hanging out with them cause we laugh so much about rubbish! Am really looking forward to having dinner with them tomorrow. We're going to this place over at Ashfield for Peking duck, a plan that has been postponed for months. Let's just hope that the peking duck is just as good as the one back in Malaysia at Shangri-La! I was and still am totally in love with the Peking Duck served at Shang-Palace. *slurp* It's definitely gonna be on the "To-Eat-List" when Fel visits KL at the end of the year. I'll have to slowly compile a list of "To-Eat" and "To-Do", I'm only planning on going back for about 2 weeks cause I don't and doubt I can take leave for a month during Christmas but it really all depends.
Should leave now need to go look for some munchies.....I ate the last Magnum Almond and am so craving for it now!
